Check bags with no trouble!

When you plan a trip, any mistake  may become future trouble. One of the most common mistakes is related to the luggage in general. A bag that doesn't fit the specifications is subjected to extra dispatch taxes and in the case of hand bagagge, seizure of forbiden itens. On this post you will find some usefull tips to avoid that kind of trouble.

The bagagge wheight limit depends on the aerial company, and the kind of ticket aquired. Most companies limit the wheight in two volumes with 50 pounds each for the check in and two hand bagagges, that may be a little bag and a backpack for example. Avoid packing liquid on the hand baggage, considering you can only take an amount of liquid inferior to 100 mili liters, and the recipient of this liquid must be in a sealed transparent bag.

Standard Bag Size:

Before selecting a flight, read carefully the informations related to the bagagge limit. Depending on the amount of lugagge, it worths choosing a more expensive flight that allows you to dispatch a bigger quantity of bags, compensating the overwheight fine that would be charged in another flight whit smaller bagagge limit.

Be carefull. Sometimes the check in charges are not included on the price of the flight, and has to be payed separately.

When you are attending a flight with multiple stops, bring the documentation with you, to avoid being charged twice by the check in attendants.That way is much easier to prove them you are only taking a conexion flight.
Another tip is to put some sticker or ribbon on your bags, so you can easely identificate them by far on the bagagge claim, avoiding it to be switched by mistake or anything like that.
